Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This policy governs the cancellation of orders, return of products, and refund of payments for purchases made through the KShoppe Portal. By placing an order on the portal, customers agree to the terms and conditions stated below.


1. Order Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation by Customer

Customers may cancel an order only before the order is accepted by the Seller on the KShoppe Portal.

If the order is cancelled before acceptance:

  • The order amount will be refunded, after deduction of nominal payment gateway charges, if applicable.
  • Refund will be credited to the original payment method or the customer’s bank account.

The refund will normally be processed within 10 working days from the date of cancellation.

1.2 Cancellation after Order Acceptance

Once the order is accepted by the Seller, the customer cannot cancel the order through the portal. Customers may refer to the Return & Refund provisions of this policy, where applicable.

1.3 Cancellation by KShoppe

The KShoppe Portal reserves the right to cancel any order under circumstances such as:

  • Product unavailability
  • Incorrect product information or pricing
  • Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
  • Operational or logistical constraints.

In such cases, the customer will be notified and the eligible refund amount without interest will be processed to the original payment method.


2. Return Policy

2.1 Return Eligibility

Products may be returned only if:

  • The product delivered is different from the description or specifications mentioned on the portal.
  • The wrong product has been delivered.
  • The product is damaged during transit.
  • The product delivered is outside the expiry date (for food or consumable products).

Returns will not normally be accepted for reasons such as change of mind, incorrect selection of colour, size, model, or similar buyer’s remorse cases.

2.2 Return Window

Customers must initiate a return request within two (2) days from the date of delivery of the product. Requests raised after the return window may not be considered.


2.3 Return Request Procedure

To initiate a return through the KShoppe Portal, customers must:

  1. Log in to the portal and create a Return Request.
  2. Provide the reason for return and upload photographs of the received product, wherever applicable.
  3. The Seller will review the request and approve the return if the reason is valid.
  4. Once approved, a Return Slip will be generated in the portal.

Customers must:

  • Pack the product securely in the same manner as received.
  • Affix the return slip generated through the portal to the package.

Returns without the return slip may not be processed.


2.4 Return Shipment

Returned products must be sent only to the Seller address specified in the Return Slip through:

  • India Post
  • Any recognized courier service provider
  • Direct/manual delivery to the specified location.

Customers are responsible for arranging and ensuring safe return shipment. Neither the Seller nor the KShoppe Portal will be liable for loss or damage during return transit.


2.5 Condition of Returned Products

Returned products must:

  • Be in original condition
  • Include original packaging
  • Have MRP tags intact
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and warranty cards, where applicable.

Products showing signs of usage, damage, or tampering may not be accepted.


3. Special Product Return Conditions

3.1 Garments and Textile Products

This includes bedsheets, shirts, kurtis, sarees, and other textile products.

Returns will be accepted only if:

  • The product delivered is incorrect.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • The product is damaged during transit.

For returns to be valid:

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and unworn.
  • Original tags, labels, and packaging must remain intact.

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The item has been washed, worn, or altered.
  • Tags or labels are removed.
  • Damage is caused due to customer misuse.

3.2 Food and Perishable Goods

Food items may be returned only if:

  • The product delivered is outside the expiry date.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • The product was damaged during transit.
  • The incorrect product was delivered.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Opened or tampered packages
  • Partially consumed products
  • Dissatisfaction based on taste
  • Improper storage by the customer.

Claims must be raised within three (3) days of delivery with photo or video proof.


4. Inspection of Returned Products

All returned products will be inspected by the Seller upon receipt. Refund or replacement will be processed only after verification of the returned item. The KShoppe Portal reserves the right to accept or reject returned products based on their condition.


5. Refund Policy

5.1 Refund Processing

Once the returned product is received and verified by the Seller, the refund will be initiated. Refunds are normally processed within fifteen (15) working days from the date the returned product is received. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method, or to the customer’s bank account. Applicable taxes and nominal payment gateway charges may be deducted.

5.2 Delivery Charges

  • Initial delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping charges must be borne by the customer, unless otherwise approved.

6. Misuse of Policy

If customers are found to misuse the cancellation or return facility by excessive returns, cancellations, or refusal to accept deliveries, the KShoppe Portal reserves the right to issue warnings, suspend the customer account, or block or terminate the account.
